What you'll be doing
Working alongside experienced educators, you'll:
- Support children's learning through engaging, play-based experiences.
- Assist in providing a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment where every child feels valued.
- Help with daily routines, including meals, rest,
personal care and transitions throughout the day.
- Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Observe children's learning and contribute to documenting their development under the guidance of experienced educators.
- Help prepare engaging learning environments that encourage curiosity, creativity and exploration.
- Follow all health, safety and child protection requirements to ensure the wellbeing of every child.
- Participate in team meetings, professional learning and your Certificate III studies.
About you We're looking for someone who:
- Has a genuine passion for working with children and supporting their learning.
- Is caring, patient, positive and enthusiastic.
- Is eager to learn, accepts feedback and enjoys working as part of a team.
- Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is committed to completing a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
- Holds, or is willing to obtain, a Working With Children Check before commencing employment.
- Brings reliability, professionalism and a positive attitude to work every day.
