*The Role An opportunity has become available for several Clinical Measurement Scientist - Senior (Cardiac Electrophysiology) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

Deliver independent high-level services to electrophysiology services

Exercise professional judgement to a complex caseload

Provide clinical advice and education to professional and teams, service managers and stakeholders

Provide clinical practice supervision to training staff and student

About you To be successful in this position you will require:

Tertiary degree in health science (or equivalent), with a strong component of human anatomy and physiology

Participation in afterhours "Emergency Clinical On Call" services

Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B

Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required

Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed

Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Temporary part-time (3 months with possibility of extension, hours negotiable)

Base salary ranging from $64.64 - $69.55 per hour

offers a wide range of cardiac diagnostic services including echocardiography, exercise stress echocardiography, dobutamine stress echocardiography, pacemaker/Internal Cardioverter Defibrillator interrogation and programming, cardiac electrophysiology studies, cardiac catheterisation monitoring, exercise stress testing, electrocardiograms, tilt tables testing, ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, holter and event monitoring.
