Target Business Services Location: Shop 2/200 Mirrabooka Ave, Alexander Heights WA 6064 Salary: $79,600 plus 12% superannuation

Position: Full time, permanent Our client, Drunk Elephant Pty Ltd trading as The Height's Bar & Bistro, operates a well-established restaurant in Alexander Heights renowned for its vibrant atmosphere, diverse menu, and commitment to delivering high-quality dining experiences. The venue prides itself on serving fresh, flavourful meals and providing outstanding customer service in a welcoming environment. An opportunity is now available for a passionate and reliable Cook to join the kitchen team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking quality meals, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting the efficient day-to-day operation of the kitchen.

Qualifications and Experience To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Certificate III or Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification), or at least one year of relevant full-time work experience as a Cook.
- Sound knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
- Understanding of food safety, hygiene, HACCP, and WHS requirements.
- Experience working in a busy commercial kitchen.
- A genuine passion for the hospitality industry and delivering quality food.

Key Responsibilities Your duties will include:

- Prepare, season,



and cook a variety of meals in accordance with established recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure consistency in food quality, portion sizes, and presentation.
- Assist with food preparation and mise en place for daily kitchen operations.
- Monitor food quality throughout preparation and service.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils.
- Follow food safety, HACCP, and workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
- Monitor stock levels and advise supervisors of ingredient requirements.
- Assist with receiving, checking, and storing food supplies appropriately.
- Minimise food wastage through effective preparation and stock rotation.
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation during busy service periods.
- Assist with the preparation of special dietary meals where required.
- Report equipment faults or maintenance issues to management.
