At Jambra Early Learning Bowral, we believe every educator has the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children. As we prepare to open our beautiful new service, currently under construction, we are seeking passionate and dedicated educators to join our founding team. Successful applicants will commence in the coming months and play an important role in establishing our centre, building positive relationships with families, and creating a strong team culture from the very beginning.

Position Overview

Joining Jambra Early Learning means becoming part of an exciting journey from day one. As a member of our founding team, you will help create warm, engaging learning environments where children feel secure, supported, and inspired to learn every day. Working alongside a passionate team of educators, you will contribute to high-quality educational programs, build meaningful relationships with children and families, and help shape the culture and success of our brand new centre.

We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated professionals across all educator roles to join our team and help bring our brand new centre to life, including:

- Early Childhood Teachers (ECTs)
- Educational Leaders
- Room Leaders
- Diploma Qualified Educators
- Certificate III Educators
- Trainee Educators
- Centre Cook
- Regular Casual Educators

Your key responsibilities will include:




- Providing high-quality education and care in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Framework.
- Creating safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environments that support each child's development and wellbeing.
- Building positive and respectful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the wider community.
- Supporting children's learning through play-based experiences that encourage exploration, creativity, and independence.
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety, supervision, hygiene, and child protection practices.
- Working collaboratively with the team to establish a positive, supportive, and inclusive centre culture.
- Contributing to observations, programming, documentation, and the ongoing assessment of children's learning.
- Ensuring compliance with the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, centre policies, and all relevant legislation.
- Participating in professional development, team meetings, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Supporting the successful establishment and growth of our new service by embracing teamwork, flexibility, and a shared commitment to excellence.

Child Safety & Child Protection Responsibilities

At Jambra Early Learning Bowral, child safety is our highest priority. The successful applicant is expected to:

- Uphold and promote the service's Child Safe Commitment by fostering a culture where children feel safe, heard, respected, and valued while ensuring compliance with mandatory reporting obligations and all child protection policies and procedures under NSW legislation.
- Maintain professional boundaries, identify and respond appropriately to concerns regarding child wellbeing,



and ensure daily practices, environments, and supervision strategies consistently minimise risk and promote the safety and wellbeing of every child.

About You

We are looking for educators who:

- Hold (or are actively working towards) an approved Early Childhood qualification relevant to the position.
- Have a genuine passion for early childhood education and supporting children's learning and development.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the National Quality Framework, Early Years Learning Framework, and child-safe practices.
- Are positive, reliable, and committed to working collaboratively as part of a team.
- Possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Are organised, motivated, and committed to continuous professional growth.
- Hold (or are willing to obtain) all relevant mandatory certifications, including a Working With Children Check, Mandatory Child safety Training, Required Child Protection Training, First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
