About the role

This role leads a team of installation technicians to provide the on-site installation of fall protection and height safety systems. The leading hand installer also works with operations managers and external stakeholders to ensure that work is carried out in accordance with design plans, relevant standards, manufacturer instructions, and internal processes.

Previous experience in height safety or a leading hand role is preferred, but not essential. A background in trades or construction (carpentry, roofing, plumbing, etc) would be advantageous. This role is designed for those looking to step into, or further develop, leadership capabilities.

We are seeking someone who is confident working on-site, takes initiative, and enjoys leading by example. The ideal candidate will have strong practical trade skills, a sound understanding of site safety, and the ability to work independently while guiding and supporting a small team.





Success in this role provides pathways to further your career in fall protection and height safety including transitioning into compliance inspection, estimation and design, or client account management. Height Safety Engineers has a long history of promoting technicians into senior and management roles as careers progress.

This role requires frequent travel around New South Wales and the ACT. Occasional interstate travel may also be required. This role is being offered on a permanent, full-time basis.
