LOCUM COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH CLINICIAN - ASAP START THE ROLE

Salary: $80 - $160 per hour + Super + 'Living Away From Home Allowance' assistance

Location: Regional Victoria or Regional NSW

Accommodation and Travel: Included

Hours: Monday - Friday, Full Time

Contract Length: 12 weeks initially with scope for extension

We are seeking experienced Community Mental Health Clinicians with a robust background in community mental health and case management, working with adults.

Working within a multi-disciplinary team consisting of Social Workers, Nurses and Psychologists, you will provide a range of services that include psycho-social assessments and community mental health case management of clients presenting with mild to very severe mental health conditions, including Schizophrenia. You must have strong mental health assessment skills within a community setting and also have a background working in hospitals.

This position offers the opportunity to work as part of an effective team, providing quality care to clients through the use of clinical skills within the scope of integrated services.



The role gives exposure to a rural and regional healthcare service, partnering with larger health networks including, to ensure the role is supportive and fosters career growth across a range of areas.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

- Social Worker or Mental Health Nurse with at least 4 years experience working in hospital settings
- AASW eligibility or AHPRA Registration
- Skills and experience within a community mental health setting
- Excellent case management skills
- Ability to work within a fast paced setting in a multi-disciplinary team
- National Police Check or willingness to obtain one
- Working With Children's Check or willingness to obtain one
