About the Role
Join our Mechanical Maintenance team, where you’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving plant reliability across fixed and rotating equipment.
You will
- Diagnose faults and perform breakdown and preventative maintenance
- Maintain and repair conveyors, fans, blowers and agitators
- Contribute to plant improvements and equipment modifications
- Interpret technical drawings and record work in CMMS (JDE)
- Support continuous improvement (TPM, 5S) and team safety initiatives
Description
About You
- Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter (Cert III Engineering)
- Experience in heavy industry or mineral processing
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capability
- Able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Safety-focused with a proactive, team-oriented mindset
Desirable:
- Forklift, EWP, Dogging, Rigging, Gantry Crane
- Welding and basic fabrication skills
- CMMS experience (JDE, SAP, Oracle)
- Alignment and tracking experience
- Strong hydraulic fault-finding and repair skills
- Ability to interpret hydraulic schematics and mechanical drawings
