Protech are currently seeking anExperienced Civil Leading Handto join a growing team working across major civil projects throughout the Gold Coast. This is an ongoing opportunity for the right candidate with animmediate start available.

ABOUT THE ROLE

- Leading earthworks crews across civil construction projects
- Full-time hours (casual) with overtime opportunities available
- Competitive hourly rates based on experience
- Ongoing project work with long-term opportunities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Supervise and lead civil earthworks crews on site
- Coordinate daily tasks and work schedules
- Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and to specification
- Operate civil plant and equipment where required
- Read and interpret construction plans and project specifications
- Liaise with Supervisors, Project Managers, and subcontractors
- Maintain high safety, quality, and environmental standards




- Provide hands‑on support to the crew as required

TICKETS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- Proven experience as a Civil Leading Hand is essential
- Strong civil earthworks experience
- Construction White Card
- Current Driver’s Licence and reliable transport
- Machinery tickets and VOCs highly regarded
- Ability to lead crews and maintain productivity on site
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety

Must be able to pass D&A; testing and a pre-employment medical.
