We are looking for a skilled and proactive Network Security Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure while protecting the organization's systems and data from cyber threats.

? KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

? Design, implement, and manage secure network infrastructure and security solutions.

? Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and network security appliances.

? Monitor network traffic and security events to identify, investigate, and respond to potential threats.

? Perform vulnerability assessments, security audits, and risk analysis to strengthen network defenses.

? Collaborate with IT and infrastructure teams to implement network security policies and best practices.

? Investigate and respond to security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.

? Support security compliance initiatives and maintain technical documentation.

? Research emerging cybersecurity threats and recommend security improvements and mitigation strategies.

✅ REQUIREMENTS

?? Must be legally eligible to work in Australia.

? Applicants must hold one of the following:

- Australian Citizen
- Australian Permanent Resident
- Valid Australian Work Visa with full work rights

❌ Applicants holding a Visitor Visa, Tourist Visa, or any visa without work rights are not eligible for this position.



? Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Network Engineering, or a related field.

? Strong knowledge of network security principles, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, network segmentation, and secure network architecture.

? Experience with security technologies and vendors such as Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Check Point, Juniper, or similar.

? Solid understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VLANs, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, and network protocols.

? Experience with security monitoring tools, SIEM platforms, vulnerability scanning, and incident response processes.

☁️ Familiarity with cloud security concepts and securing AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments is an advantage.

? Relevant certifications such as CCNP Security, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CEH, PCNSE, or NSE are highly regarded.

? Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

? Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a quick-paced, security-focused environment.
