Kinoko Japanese Restaurant is looking for an experienced and disciplined Head Chef to run the kitchen. This role requires a competent leader who can manage teams and maintain high standards.

Major Duties

- Daily supervision of the kitchen, guaranteeing the smooth and effective functioning of the service.
- Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency.
- Lead, train and supervise kitchen personnel.
- Apply standards for cleanliness and hygiene and food safety.
- Manage stock, order and supplier connections.




- Manage food expenses and minimise waste.

Requirements

- Experience as Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef (preferably Japanese cuisine) proven experience.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Knowledge of kitchen operations, stock control & costing.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced atmosphere.
- High level of detail orientation and discipline.
