About the Role We're looking for a hands-on Platform Engineer to help build, maintain, and optimise our cloud-native AWS and Kubernetes (EKS) platforms. Working closely with Engineering, Security, and Architecture teams, you'll drive automation, reliability, and continuous improvement, enabling developers to deliver software securely and efficiently while helping to evolve a resilient, scalable, and high-performing platform.

Key Responsibilities include: Support, maintain, and optimise AWS-hosted Kubernetes (EKS) platforms.

Manage Kubernetes lifecycle activities including upgrades, patching, scaling, and platform reliability.

Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and automation best practices.

Deploy and manage applications using Helm and CI/CD tooling.

Implement and support Kubernetes autoscaling solutions, including Karpenter.

Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues, and respond to incidents.

Lead or contribute to platform upgrades and migrations with minimal business disruption.





Build reusable platform capabilities and automation that improve developer experience, deployment consistency, security, and operational reliability.

Maintain operational documentation, standards, and best practices.

Design and implement self-service platform capabilities that enable engineering teams to deploy and operate applications safely and efficiently. About you! To be successful in this role, you will have:

Strong hands-on AWS experience, including EKS, EC2, IAM, VPC, Load Balancers, and Autoscaling.

Proven experience operating and maintaining production Kubernetes environments.

Strong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, preferably using Jenkins.

Experience implementing Kubernetes autoscaling using Karpenter, HPA, or similar technologies.

Strong Linux administration and cloud-native troubleshooting skills.

Experience with DevOps and DevSecOps practices, including observability, secrets management, and automation.

Experience with observability platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana or OpenTelemetry

Experience working with large-scale or multi-cluster Kubernetes environments will be highly regarded.
