Hillbrook Anglican School
Queensland
Hillbrook Anglican School is a co-educational secondary school in Enoggera, Brisbane, where we open minds, inspire hearts and nurture dreams. Guided by the motto 'In Balance We Grow', our community is defined by genuine care for young people, collegial staff culture, and a commitment to innovation in learning. We invite you to be part of it.
About the role
As Hillbrook's Outdoor Education Teacher, you will lead and co-lead delivery of an Outdoor Education Program that provides students with diverse nature-based opportunities through activity days and multi-day camps. This is a defining feature of a Hillbrook education, and the person in this role is central to it.
You will build genuine, deep knowledge of the programme, our staff and our students, so that you can lead learning outcomes with confidence. The role calls for sound, timely decision-making in dynamic and remote settings, backed fully by Hillbrook's leadership.
This is a rare opportunity: a permanent, full-time teaching position with a genuine career pathway, something not often found in outdoor education. You will join a committed team, be stretched professionally, and have a direct and lasting impact on young people through experiences a classroom alone cannot offer.
Success in this role means knowing our programme well enough to make it your own within the first year, and being recognised as a trusted, decisive leader in the outdoors.
