Your new role Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will play a critical role in the review and assessment of structural designs on significant construction projects.You will work closely with developers, builders, design consultants, surveyors, and project stakeholders to provide technical advice, engineering reviews, and practical solutions that contribute to the safe delivery of major developments. (up to $1.5bn).Undertake independent structural reviews and technical assessments of building and infrastructure projects.Review structural documentation and provide clear engineering advice relating to compliance, constructibility, and design integrity.Engage directly with developers, contractors, consultants,



and project stakeholders throughout project delivery.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers within the business.Support business growth through networking, relationship management, and maintaining trusted client partnerships.Contribute to project risk identification and resolution on complex developments.Act as a trusted technical advisor across projects ranging from mid-sized developments through to major construction projects. What you’ll need to succeed - Degree-qualified Structural Engineer.

- Extensive consulting engineering experience within the Australian building or infrastructure sector.
- Previous experience operating at Senior, Principal, Associate, or Technical Director level.
- Robust understanding of Australian Standards, NCC requirements, structural design, and engineering compliance.
- Ability to review and challenge complex engineering designs and provide practical recommendations.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to prepare detailed technical reports and assessments.
- Strong verbal communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable building relationships, networking within the industry, and representing the business externally.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to understand the broader impact engineering decisions can have on project outcomes.
