An exciting opportunity is available for a Payroll Officer to join a busy and collaborative team in Chatswood. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will contribute to accurate and timely payroll processing while providing support to your teammates on day-to-day payroll queries. This role works in a small, but busy team where you will have the opportunity to learn from an accomplished Payroll Manager.

An exciting chance is available for a Payroll Officer to join a busy and collaborative team in Chatswood. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will contribute to accurate and timely payroll processing while providing support to your teammates on day-to-day payroll queries. This role works in a small, but busy team where you will have the opportunity to learn from an accomplished Payroll Manager.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

- Processing end-to-end payroll, including new starters, bank changes, superannuation, salary adjustments, allowances, deductions and terminations




- Following documented payroll checking procedures to ensure compliance and accuracy across all tasks
- Assisting with the calculation and processing of termination payments
- Supporting the administration and processing of PAYG, superannuation and other third-party payments

The successful applicant

- Capable of processing high volume payrolls
- Experience with a major payroll system essential
- Approachable attitude and friendly to other team members
- Some experience working with different awards; basic knowledge of interpretation
- High attention to detail, completing work with a high level of accuracy
