Project Manager & Project Engineers – Heavy Industrial and Commercial Buildings – Hunter Region
Our client is a well-established project partner for major Heavy Industrial and Commercial developments, currently delivering multiple projects across the region. Due to sustained increases in confirmed major projects, they're looking to add both a Project Manager and Project Engineers to their team on a full-time permanent basis, with an ASAP start.
These roles sit within a business that manages projects from contract award right through to installation and close out, working across engineering, drafting, manufacturing, logistics and site delivery. You'll be part of a close-knit team with direct exposure to Tier 1 and Tier 2 Principal Contractors across a strong pipeline of live projects
Project Manager
You'll take full ownership of allocated projects and act as the primary point of contact with the Principal Contractor. This role suits someone with strong commercial and contractual management experience who can lead multiple projects through their full lifecycle and keep stakeholders aligned.
- 5-10 years' project management experience in commercial construction, structural or civil engineering, infrastructure or heavy industrial building materials manufacturing
- Demonstrated experience managing projects on behalf of a subcontractor or specialist supplier
- Experience acting as the primary interface with Tier 1 and Tier 2 Principal Contractors
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline
- Base salary $150,000 to $170,000 plus super vehicle
Project Engineer
You'll coordinate the day-to-day technical and operational delivery of allocated projects, working closely with the Project Manager and internal teams to keep engineering, manufacturing and installation activities on track.
- 3-7 years' experience in project engineering, construction engineering or project coordination within commercial construction, structural or civil engineering, infrastructure or heavy industrial building materials manufacturing
- Experience coordinating engineering, manufacturing, logistics and installation activities
- Experience working with Principal Contractors, consultants and multidisciplinary teams
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline
- Base salary $110,000 to $125,000 super
