Independent Living Specialists (ILS) is one of Australia’s largest healthcare equipment providers. With 60 showrooms, 15 warehouses, and 700+ staff across four states (and growing), we are recognised for our leadership in solutions, innovation, and quality service across showrooms, home care, hospital & pressure care, and configured mobility.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Regional Manager to lead our Newcastle/Hunter operations and take our customer experience to the next level.

About the Role

Based in Warners Bay, the Regional Manager will oversee the performance of our Erina and Warners Bay retail, operations, and service network. This hands-on leadership role is accountable for sales growth, operational efficiency, team engagement, and overall customer experience across the region.

You’ll be responsible for:

- Leading day-to-day operations including sales, rentals, customer service, and profitability
- Achieving and exceeding sales, margin, and EBITDA targets across all ILS business lines
- Driving branch performance across service, logistics, light rehab, and complex rehab
- Ensuring compliance with Work Health & Safety (WHS) and Quality Management standards
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare professionals, funding bodies, and community partners
- Supporting staff development through regular branch visits, coaching, and engagement initiatives
- Promoting excellence in visual merchandising and customer experience across sites

About You





- You are a strong and strategic leader with a proven ability to manage multi-site operations and inspire teams to deliver exceptional results.
- To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Proven multi-site management experience, ideally in healthcare, assistive technology, or retail
- Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated P&L; responsibility
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills across geographically dispersed teams
- The ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on problem-solving
- Experience building key client and stakeholder relationships
- A proactive, resilient, and adaptable approach in a quick-paced environment

Preferred qualifications:

- 5–7 years of management experience with integrated operations (sales, service, logistics)
- Knowledge of NDIS and regional healthcare service delivery
