3+ Month Contract | Day & Night Shifts | Immediate Start Available
HSB Resources is currently seeking an experienced Safety Advisor to join a major construction project for a minimum three-month engagement.
This role offers the prospect to work closely with project delivery teams across both day and night shift operations, ensuring safe execution of works while fostering a positive safety culture on site.
We are looking for a hands-on safety professional who enjoys being in the field, building relationships with frontline personnel, and driving proactive safety outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day HSE support to project teams
- Conduct field inspections and workplace observations
- Facilitate pre-starts, toolbox talks and safety meetings
- Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions
- Review and monitor SWMS, permits and risk assessments
- Support subcontractors to achieve project safety requirements
- Monitor compliance with WHS legislation and client standards
- Promote a proactive and positive safety culture across site
To be successful in this role you will ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Safety Advisor within construction, civil, infrastructure, mining, utilities or renewable energy projects
- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (minimum)
- Strong working knowledge of Queensland WHS legislation
- Experience conducting investigations and risk assessments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to build trust with supervisors, subcontractors and project personnel
- Current Driver's Licence
- Construction White Card
Highly Regarded
- Diploma in WHS
- ICAM Lead Investigator
- Cert IV Training & Assessment
- Experience on major infrastructure or energy projects
- Rail, renewable energy, transmission line or substation experience
- First Aid qualifications
