About the role:
This position based out of or office in Glebe, is responsible for providing personalised rehabilitation services to individuals with a range of physical and psychological needs. As a Occupational Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play a key leadership role within our multidisciplinary team. You will provide expert guidance in injury management, return-to-work services, and complex case coordination. You will also have the future opportunity in growth to mentor junior consultants, contribute to service development, and help drive Ache Group’s reputation for excellence.
What you'll be doing
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop tailored rehabilitation plans
- Promote a range of evidence-based therapy interventions, including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and cognitive retraining
- Collaborate with clients, their Employer, Treating Drs,
Insurers, and other healthcare professionals to achieve client-centred goals
- Monitor client progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and document all interactions and outcomes
- Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative rehabilitation programs
- Participate in team meetings, workplace meetings, case conferences, and ongoing training & development activities
What we're looking for
- Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Occupational Therapy, or a related allied health discipline
- Minimum 1 years' experience working as a Rehabilitation Consultant or in a similar role (GRADUATES MAY STILL APPLY)
- Demonstrated ability to design and deliver tailored rehabilitation programs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent clinical reasoning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development
