We're currently recruiting for one Part-Time Animal Attendant in our Welfare Cattery and are also looking to grow our casual Animal Attendant pool across our Welfare Cattery, Welfare Kennels and Boarding teams.

About the Role:
The Part-Time Animal Attendant role is based in our Welfare Cattery, providing day-to-day care for cats while supporting their health, wellbeing and journey to adoption.
We're also seeking casual Animal Attendants who can support our Welfare Cattery, Welfare Kennels and Boarding teams as operational needs arise.
Typical shifts are between 8:00am – 4:00pm and 9:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Sunday. The part-time position is a minimum of three shifts per week, including alternate weekends and some public holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily care for cats and/or dogs, including feeding, cleaning, medicating and enrichment.
- Monitor animal health and behaviour and report any concerns.
- Maintain clean,
safe and hygienic animal areas.
- Support our veterinary and behaviour teams with day-to-day care.
- Assist customers with adoptions, boarding enquiries and general customer service.
- Work efficiently while maintaining high animal welfare standards.
About You:
- Passionate about animal welfare.
- Studying or qualified in animal care or a related field, and/or have experience in a shelter, boarding facility, veterinary clinic or similar environment (highly desirable).
- Reliable, organised and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive team player with excellent communication skills.
- Flexible to work weekdays, weekends and public holidays.
- Comfortable with physically active work, including cleaning and lifting.
