We are seeking a qualified and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our vibrant team at Happy Faces Child Care in Roselands, NSW. As a Diploma qualified Early Childhood Educator , you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and early education to the children at Happy Faces. This is a full-time or part - time position, offering the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting with planning and implementing engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences that promote children's cognitive, physical, social and emotional development
- At times you may be required to observe and document children's progress.
- Establishing and maintaining nurturing, respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Ensuring a safe, clean and well-organised learning environment
- Adhering to all relevant regulations, policies and procedures
- Participating in team meetings, professional development and continuous improvement initiatives
What we're looking for
- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification
- Demonstrated experience working as an Early Childhood Educator in a long day care or preschool setting
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Creativity and a passion for providing high-quality early childhood education
- Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management certifications
- Working with Children Check
