About the Opportunity

An established national advisory firm is seeking an experienced Manager or Senior Manager to join its Private Enterprise team, specialising in Real Estate Tax & Advisory.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to step away from a predominantly compliance-focused role and work on complex advisory engagements across property development, investment structures and private capital.

Working closely with senior leadership, you'll advise a diverse portfolio of private developers, investors and fund managers throughout the full lifecycle of property projects—from initial structuring and feasibility through to delivery, reporting and exit.

The Role

As a trusted advisor, you will deliver strategic tax and commercial advice while building long-term client relationships across the property sector.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Advising property developers, investors and private groups on tax and commercial matters.
- Providing structuring advice for development projects, investment vehicles and property ownership arrangements.
- Assisting clients with feasibility assessments, funding structures and equity considerations.
- Delivering tax planning advice across income tax, GST, CGT and broader property tax matters.
- Supporting project reporting and advising on financial and management reporting implications.
- Managing a combination of advisory and compliance engagements for property-focused clients.




- Building trusted relationships with business owners, CFOs and key stakeholders.
- Mentoring junior team members and supporting their professional development.
- Contributing to business development initiatives and helping expand the firm's Real Estate Tax & Advisory capability.

About You

To be successful, you will bring:

- CA or CPA qualification (or equivalent professional accreditation).
- A degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business, Finance or a related discipline.
- Experience operating at Manager or Senior Manager level within Business Services, Private Enterprise or Corporate Tax.
- Solid exposure to property development, investment and trust structures.
- Experience delivering tax planning and advisory solutions for private clients and investment groups.
- Commercial thinking with the ability to explain complex tax matters in practical business terms.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A collaborative leadership style with experience coaching and developing team members.
