About Miller Lane Aesthetics

Miller Lane Aesthetics is a 5-star boutique precision brow, lash and skin studio on Sydney's Lower North Shore. We are a specialist studio, not a traditional beauty salon: every appointment is one-on-one and fully tailored, built around in-depth client consultation, our advanced facial mapping techniques, our precision Hybrid Dye brush work and our specialist Korean Lash Lifts.

With a client base of more than 650 and a current small team of 2 Senior Brow and Lash Artists booked out roughly eight weeks in advance, demand has far outgrown our books! We are looking for our 3rd Senior Brow & Lash Artist to join the MLA family ready take on an established, waiting client base.

A long-term role — stated up front

Please be advised this is not a short-term position. We are looking for someone seeking a genuine long-term career with us, with plans to stay and grow with us as Miller Lane Aesthetics evolves. Because of this, our employment agreements include restraint clauses we are transparent about from the start: Non-Solicitation (12 months), Non-Compete (6 months) and Secondary Employment. During your employment, you must not:

- Operate a beauty business of any kind
- Provide beauty services outside MLA
- Work for a competing business

The role

You'll deliver our full brow and lash menu to an exceptional specialist standard:

- In-depth client consultation, bringing established knowledge of all things brows and lashes — including a trained eye for brow and lash design
- Precision brow design, including our signature advanced facial mapping: The MLA Method
- Detailed brow waxing and sculpting, including wax-free techniques for sensitive and reactive skin
- Hybrid brow dye utilising precision brush work
- Brow lamination




- Traditional lash lifts — with a preference for Korean lash lifting with lash conditioning treatments — plus tinting

You will be trained and refined in the full MLA Method — including our signature golden-ratio advanced facial mapping — through a structured, fully paid induction before your column opens to clients. Korean lash lift experience is highly regarded, but if you're an experienced traditional lifter, we'll train you in our technique.

About you

Foundational theory knowledge in brows and lashes is mandatory, with a minimum of 12 months' hands‑on professional experience in brows (and/or lashes), with lash lift capability — Korean lash lift experience highly regarded

Certificate III in Beauty Services, Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy or Diploma of Beauty Therapy (or equivalent experience) — please state your qualifications in your application. Miller Lane Aesthetics pays an above-award hourly rate, determined by your qualifications and experience and classified under the Hair & Beauty Industry Award (MA000005)

A portfolio of your own brow and lash lift results (photos and/or videos) from the last 6 months — required with your application; applications without a portfolio will not progress

Available Saturdays, with a minimum of 4 days across our Tuesday–Saturday trading week (shifts fall between 8am and 7pm)

Full, unrestricted Australian working rights with no time limits on your employment (Australian citizen or permanent resident) — we are unable to offer sponsorship

Your roster and your growth

You'll start on a consistent minimum four-day weekly roster,



moving to full 8-hour days once you commence taking your own clients. As your client base and booking demand grow — and as your confidence, ability and skill set develop through the MLA technique training — your roster will build to 5 days a week, with Saturdays always included. Following your 3‑month probationary period, and your growth with the business, there is absolute intention of a long-term, full-time position.

Mandatory background — no exceptions

Minimum 12 months' qualified brow artistry experience (and/or lash lift experience), with lash lift capability

Certificate III in Beauty Services, Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy or Diploma of Beauty Therapy (or equivalent experience)

Available Saturdays, with a minimum of 4 set days required every week across our Tuesday–Saturday trading week

Full, unrestricted Australian working rights with no time limits on your employment (Australian citizen or permanent resident) — no sponsorship

A portfolio of brow and/or lash results from the last 6 months

Willing to undertake a National Police Check — employment is conditional on a satisfactory result

What you'll get

An above-award hourly rate, classified under the Hair & Beauty Industry Award (MA000005) at your qualification level, with superannuation, Saturday rates and reviews at your 3-month and 6-month marks
