Responsibilities
Credit Review
- Complete credit analysis, research, risk assessments on new lending and annual review in accordance with Credit Policy and Procedures independently
- Provide credit recommendations on credit submissions completed by CBD and FID in accordance with Branch Credit Approval Process
- Liaise with Head Office departments and other external professionals to clarify and gain in-depth understanding of proposals and their inherent risks
Ad Hoc Duties and Projects
- Assist to accomplish credit management tasks according to policy
- Assist to review, update and revise credit policy, credit procedures and credit operating manual
- Work on credit related ad hoc duties/projects assigned by the Heads
- Conduct coaching for CBD and FID team members as a part of their credit upskilling process
- Prepare meeting materials including meeting agenda, monthly portfolio report, minutes, credit submission, and other documents/information to related meeting members for noting or endorsement
- Liaise with Credit Committee/High Risk Asset Committee/Post-loan Management meeting members and other relevant departments to organize and coordinate meeting schedule
Skills, Experience, Education, Licences/Certificates, and Knowledge Required
Essential
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher education, major in Finance / Accounting / Commerce
- At least one year working experience in corporate banking
- Exceptional attention to detail, highly motivated, capable of multi-tasking, and willing to learn and develop within the role
- Both written and verbal proficiency in English and Mandarin
- A good team player, a strong communicator and capable of working autonomously or as part of a team cooperatively
