McPeake Facility Services is currently seeking motivated and reliable gas plumbers to join our growing team carrying out annual gas safety checks, carbon monoxide testing and heater servicing across Melbourne and surrounding suburbs.

Following a comprehensive training and induction period, you'll transition into a role with limited supervision, allowing you to manage your own day and work independently.

Jobs are allocated to you in bulk, giving you the flexibility to organise your appointments, plan your routes and manage your daily workload as though you are running your own business—while still enjoying the security and benefits of permanent employment.

About the role

Your primary duties will include:

- Annual gas safety inspections

- Heater servicing and preventative maintenance

- Carbon monoxide testing and compliance checks

- Testing gas appliances and identifying faults

- Minor repairs and rectification works

- Completing reports electronically using company-issued tablets

- Providing professional customer service to residents

We are looking for gas plumbers who are:

- Trustworthy and reliable

Essential requirements

- Current plumbing registration with gas servicing endorsement

- Manual driver's licence

- Own hand tools

- Ability to work autonomously and manage your own time

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Commitment to workplace safety

- Full Australian working rights

- Police check (required upon successful application)
