About the role

This 12-month fixed-term contract is ideal for an experienced People & Culture Business Partner who enjoys working across a broad range of HR initiatives while influencing leaders at all levels.

As the Senior People & Culture Business Partner (AO6), you will partner with senior leaders to deliver expert people management advice and practical HR solutions across a diverse portfolio.

You’ll play a key role in supporting organisational capability, workforce planning, leadership development and change initiatives, while helping deliver strategic people outcomes aligned with the organisation's People First strategy.

Key Responsibilities

- Partner with senior leaders to provide strategic HR advice and coaching
- Build trusted relationships across the organisation to support business outcomes
- Provide expert guidance on:




- Employee relations
- Workforce planning
- Organisational design
- Talent management
- Performance management
- Change management
- Coach and develop leaders to build capability and drive high performance
- Identify workforce risks and opportunities, developing practical solutions in collaboration with stakeholders
- Support the delivery of strategic workforce initiatives and People & Culture projects
- Influence decision-making through active participation in leadership forums
- Contribute to learning and development initiatives and continuous improvement activities

About You

We're looking for an experienced HR Business Partner who combines strategic thinking with a practical, solutions-focused approach.

You'll bring:

- Demonstrated experience delivering high-quality HR services within a complex organisation
- Strong knowledge of contemporary HR practices, policies and employment legislation
- Experience partnering with senior and executive leaders
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
- Strong coaching and influencing capability
- Experience supporting organisational change and workforce planning initiatives
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills,



including the ability to prepare high-quality reports and correspondence
- A proactive, collaborative and customer-focused approach

Highly Regarded

- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management or a related discipline
- Experience within a large public sector or healthcare environment

Requirements

- Current Queensland 'C' Class Driver Licence
- Ability to undertake occasional travel, including overnight stays when required
- Australian working rights
- Successful completion of pre-employment screening, including criminal history and other employment checks
