Responsibilities
Support the team with data gathering, analysis and pitch preparation.
Manage internal transaction approval processes.
Build and maintain client relationships, acting as key point of contact for selected clients.
Work independently and with senior team members in the origination and execution of transactions.
Develop execution expertise across all relevant global Debt Capital Markets.
Develop and manage a network of internal and external derivatives providers to facilitate cross‑currency basis and other issuance related hedging.
Develop relationships with DCM colleagues in UBS Australian and offshore offices to build market awareness and a network.
Apply research, business analysis and financial modelling skills; use market knowledge to identify opportunities.
Keep abreast of developments in global markets; maintain working knowledge of investment banking products.
Qualifications
University graduate with robust academic results and a track record of success, both academically and professionally.
At least 2 years' work experience gained from investment banking, accountancy, law, strategic consultancy or a similar financial services profession.
Team player with strong origination, derivative and interpersonal skills.
Committed to a career in investment banking.
Ability to work under pressure to produce presentation material and financial analysis quickly and accurately.
Solid attention to detail, resilience and enthusiasm to excel in a competitive and rewarding team atmosphere.
