A leading Australian financial institution is seeking an experienced Senior Relationship Manager to join its high-performing Emerging Corporate Banking team in Sydney.

This chance will suit an established relationship banker looking to manage a quality portfolio while continuing to originate new business and work on complex commercial lending transactions.

The Prospect

You’ll manage and grow an established portfolio of Emerging Corporate clients with lending exposures typically between $10 million and $70 million (with larger opportunities where appropriate). Working alongside an experienced Assistant Manager and dedicated credit specialists, you’ll lead client relationships from origination through to execution.

Key Responsibilities
Managing and growing an established Emerging Corporate portfolio
Identifying and originating current business opportunities through referrals and your own network
Structuring tailored lending solutions across working capital, trade finance, cash management and broader commercial banking products
Leading transactions in partnership with credit, product specialists and key internal stakeholders
Building long-term relationships with business owners,



CFOs and senior decision‑makers

About You
Experience in Business, Commercial, Corporate or Emerging Corporate Banking
Strong relationship management and business development capability
Well‑developed commercial lending and credit skills – cash flow lending essential.
Experience managing commercial clients with lending exposures from approximately $10 million
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
A genuine interest in partnering with growing Australian businesses
