Tired of production cycles that drag on for months while the actual research gets squeezed into the margins?
This is a business built for people who want to move quick. A well-established conference and events company with a portfolio of 150+ annual events is looking for a Senior Conference Producer to join their production team.
Six years in, still growing, and genuinely selective about who they bring on board. Culture here isn't a slide in the induction deck, it's the reason the founding team started the business in the first place.
Key responsibilities
Lead the research and development of conference and masterclass programs, from initial topic through to a fully built agenda
Pick up the phone and speak directly with industry leaders and sector stakeholders to understand what's really driving a topic, before content gets built
Write compelling agendas and supporting content for event brochures and websites based on that research
Source and secure appropriate speakers and facilitators,
and negotiate fees to stay within budget
Liaise with speakers to shape and confirm session outlines that reflect the key themes of the event
Coordinate with the onsite events team on speaker logistics to ensure smooth delivery
What you'll bring
Experience producing events end to end, ideally 2 or more running at once
Genuine comfort with phone-based research and stakeholder conversations, this isn't a desk-research role
Commercial instincts and the ability to move quickly without cutting corners
A cooperative, values-led approach to how you work with a team
What's on offer
$90,000 to $115,000 plus super, hybrid working with 2 days from home, and a close-knit production team of 6 who genuinely back each other.
If rapid-paced, research-driven production work sounds like where you do your best work, this could be the one for you.
