McKay United is seeking an experienced Crane Mechanic to join our team, working from our Laverton yard.

The successful applicant will have hands-on experience servicing, diagnosing and repairing Grove all-terrain cranes and Terex Franna cranes.

Key responsibilities include:

Servicing and preventative maintenance

Diagnosing hydraulic, electrical and mechanical faults

Completing repairs and breakdown support

Conducting crane inspections

Maintaining accurate service records

Ensuring all work meets safety and compliance requirements

To be successful, you will have:

A recognised heavy vehicle, diesel mechanic or relevant trade qualification

Proven experience working on Grove all-terrain and Terex Franna cranes

Robust hydraulic, electrical and diagnostic skills

A commitment to safety and quality workmanship

The ability to work independently and as part of a team

A current heavy vehicle licence
