As a Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and improving our fixed plant and equipment throughout the materials recovery facility (MRF).
Shift Details: 8‑hour Day Shift Monday to Friday, with opportunity for overtime on Saturdays.
Pay: $48.77 per hour plus overtime.
What You’ll Do
Preventative maintenance tasks and continuous improvement projects.
Mechanical maintenance, fault finding and breakdown response across site equipment.
Welding, fabrication and boilermaking repairs as needed.
Assisting with planning and prioritising daily maintenance activities.
Supporting secure work practices and ensuring compliance with site procedures.
Contributing to plant upgrades and reliability improvements.
What You Will Bring
Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter (Certificate III or equivalent).
Dogman ticket (highly desirable).
Forklift License (highly desirable).
Experience in industrial manufacturing environments.
Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
Employment criteria include a criminal history check and pre‑employment medical (including drug & alcohol testing).
