About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and hands‑on Bar Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of our bar and beverage service. This is a full‑time position responsible for leading the bar team, ensuring high standards of customer service, maintaining compliance with liquor licensing requirements, and contributing to the smooth running of a busy, high-volume hospitality venue that combines dining, entertainment, and functions.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily bar operations, including opening and closing procedures
Recruit, train, roster, and supervise bar staff to ensure efficient service
Manage stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships for beverages
Monitor and control bar costs, wastage, and stock variance
Ensure full compliance with Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and liquor licensing regulations




Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and hygiene across the bar area
Develop and update drink menus, promotions, and pricing in line with venue strategy
Handle customer feedback and resolve service issues promptly and professionally
Coordinate with kitchen, floor, and function staff to ensure seamless service during events and peak trading periods
Monitor point-of-sale systems, cash handling, and end-of-shift reconciliation
Support the General Manager with rostering, budgeting, and reporting as required

About You
Proven experience in a Bar Manager or senior bar supervisory role, ideally within a hotel, pub, or high-volume hospitality venue
Current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
Solid leadership and staff management skills
Sound knowledge of liquor licensing laws and compliance requirements
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Experience with stock control, cost management, and point-of-sale systems
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required by venue trading hours
A positive, team-oriented approach and the ability to remain calm under pressure in a rapid-paced setting
