The MORPP role provides exposure to diverse clinical caseload, meaningful community engagement, and the ability to make a tangible difference in health outcomes of a rural population. Must have FACRRM or FRACGP – RG or comparability through Competent Authority Pathway from the UK, Ireland, NZ, USA or Canada. At least 3 years’ post graduate experience, with highly developed clinical skills.



Rural generalist skills as this role also entails work in the hospital’s ED and general medical wards. Completion of the Advanced Skill in Obstetrics (or equivalent) and be proficient and eligible for credentialing by the Mackay HHS credentialing committee as a Rural Generalist with Advanced Skill in Obstetrics.
