We're seeking a
Maintenance Fitter
to join a high‐performing maintenance team at a large food manufacturing site located just outside
Murray Bridge
.
This role suits a mechanically solid, hands‐on fitter who enjoys variety, problem‐solving, and working with a supportive, experienced team.

15% shift loading
on afternoon shift
Tool, boiler attendance & award allowances

The Role
You'll be responsible for mechanical maintenance across a busy production facility, including:
Preventative & reactive maintenance
Work on
conveyors, gearboxes, motors,



pumps & processing equipment
Fabrication & welding (MIG essential; TIG/STIG beneficial)
Supporting production teams to minimise downtime
Occasional weekend work (every third weekend) with an RDO during the week
Shifts & Roster
Monthly rotation across:
5:00 AM – 1:00 PM
7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
12:30 PM – 8:30 PM
You'll work a standard 5‐day week with rostered weekends built into the cycle.
About You
We're looking for a fitter with:
Strong experience in
heavy industrial or FMCG environments
Confidence working with conveyors, gearboxes, motors & mechanical plant
Welding/fabrication skills (MIG essential)
A proactive, safety‐focused approach
A willingness to learn within a senior, supportive team
