Join our team as an experienced property professional to support the delivery of Council's statutory property, community land and managed Crown land portfolio.
Working closely with the Property Services Manager and a collaborative team, this role contributes to the compliant, transparent and community focused management of public land assets.
You will provide technical and operational support across property transactions, portfolio management and statutory processes, working with internal stakeholders, community groups, government agencies and external consultants to ensure outcomes align with legislative requirements, Council policies and operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Support statutory property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, leasing, licencing, easements and road closuresUndertake due diligence, market analysis and feasibility assessments in line with legislation and Council policyAssist in managing acquisitions and community lease and licence portfoliosPrepare and negotiate lease, licence and permit agreementsCoordinate consultants, Native Title and Aboriginal Land Claim mattersPrepare reports, maintain records and respond professionally to stakeholder enquiries
About You
Experience managing property matters with accuracy and attention to detail.Collaborative and approachable, with strong stakeholder management skills.Organised and methodical, able to manage competing priorities effectively.Customer-focused and committed to delivering high-quality outcomes.
