An immediate chance is available for a
General Practitioner
to join a busy mixed billing clinic in
Cairns
.
This role is ideal for a GP seeking a locum placement with flexibility and strong financial incentives, with the potential to continue on an ongoing basis until a permanent doctor is secured.
You'll be working in a
DPA MM2 location
, making this suitable for doctors under moratorium, while enjoying a structured weekday roster and supportive clinical environment.
What's on Offer
$200 per hour or 70% of billings
(whichever is higher)
$75 per session (4 hours)
towards accommodation
Return flights provided
(QLD, NSW or VIC)
Car provided
for the duration of the placement
Mixed billing clinic with strong patient demand

Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality, patient-centred consultations




Manage a range of general practice presentations
Work collaboratively with clinic staff and support team
Maintain accurate clinical records and continuity of care
What You'll Need
Current
AHPRA registration
as a Medical Practitioner
Fellowship with
RACGP or ACRRM
(or equivalent)
Ability to commit to minimum 2-week blocks
Strong communication and patient care skills
