Our client is an established and highly regarded hospitality operator with a long-standing reputation for delivering exceptional guest experiences. Located in the heart of the Margaret River region, the business combines premium casual dining with a vibrant, fast-paced environment, attracting a loyal local following alongside a significant tourism market.

With a strong focus on quality produce, fresh seasonal flavours and continuous improvement, the venue is seeking an experienced Head Chef to build on an already successful operation and lead the next phase of its culinary journey.

Job Description

Reporting directly to the owners, you will lead a brigade of up to 25 chefs across a high-volume premium casual operation delivering between 400 and more than 1,000 covers depending on the season.

This is a leadership prospect for a commercially minded Head Chef who understands that great food starts with great people. While the kitchen is already performing well, the business is looking for someone who can inspire the team, refine systems and continue evolving the menu without losing sight of the venue's established identity.

You will be responsible for:

- Leading, mentoring and developing a kitchen brigade of up to 25 team members.
- Continuing to evolve the menu with a focus on quality, seasonality and fresh, vibrant flavours.
- Driving stock control, purchasing, food cost management and operational efficiencies.
- Delivering exceptional consistency across a high-volume service environment.
- Building a collaborative kitchen culture through calm, qualified leadership.
- Working closely with ownership to continually improve systems, standards and guest experience.

Candidate Profile

You are an experienced Head Chef with a strong classical foundation and a proven ability to lead large teams in premium casual,



pub or high-volume hospitality environments. You understand the balance between creativity and commerciality, knowing when to innovate and when to perfect the classics.

Most importantly, you are an authentic leader who communicates well, develops people and remains composed under pressure.

You will bring:

- Proven experience leading high-volume kitchens comfortably servicing 600+ covers.
- Strong leadership, communication and team development skills.
- A passion for quality produce and fresh, seasonal cooking.
- Excellent understanding of food cost control, purchasing and kitchen administration.
- The ability to improve existing menus through thoughtful refinement rather than unnecessary complexity.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment.
