Patient Survey Volunteer – Neringah Hospital

Help patients have their voices heard and contribute to improving care.

As a Patient Survey Volunteer at Neringah Hospital, you'll play an significant role in helping patients and their families share feedback about their HammondCare experience. By supporting patients to complete a short survey on a hospital-provided tablet, you'll help ensure their voices are heard and their experiences contribute to improving future care and services.

About the Role You'll approach patients and families in a friendly and respectful manner, explain the survey process, and assist them in completing the questionnaire using a HammondCare tablet.

Your support will help HammondCare better understand patient experiences and continue providing high-quality, person-centred care.

When

Weekday daytime hours

Flexible weekly or fortnightly commitment

1-2 hours between 10:00am and 4:00pm

We're looking for someone who is:

Friendly, approachable, and confident speaking with new people

A good listener with strong communication skills

Comfortable using a tablet device (or willing to learn)

Compassionate and respectful when interacting with patients and families

Reliable and able to follow processes and procedures

Comfortable in a hospital environment

Interested in improving the patient experience and quality of care

What You'll Receive

Comprehensive training and orientation

Ongoing support from your HammondCare Volunteer Coordinator

Use of a HammondCare tablet to complete surveys





Additional cyber security training to support safe information handling

The opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to patient care and service improvement

Additional Information If a patient raises concerns requiring immediate attention, volunteers will be fully supported to refer these appropriately to hospital staff. You won't be expected to manage patient concerns on your own.
