Medical Receptionist – Respiratory Specialist Practice (Part-Time)

We are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic and highly organised Medical Receptionist to join our busy and well-established Respiratory Specialist practice.

This part-time position requires availability Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 8:00 am to 4PM - 4:30 pm , with an average of 48-52 hours per fortnight . The role will initially be offered on a 3-month temporary basis , with the opportunity to become permanent following a successful probationary period.

The successful applicant will enjoy working in a quick-paced medical environment and possess excellent communication, organisational and customer service skills. While previous experience in a medical reception role is highly desirable, comprehensive training will be provided to the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet patients and provide exceptional customer service.
- Answer telephone enquiries and schedule appointments.
- Liaise with patients, their families and other healthcare providers.




- Process billing and payments.
- Perform general administrative and office duties.
- Undertake medical typing when required.

- Previous experience in a medical practice is desirable but not essential.
