Position Summary – Yanala Early Childhood Educator (ECE)
As an Early Childhood Educator, you’ll support the daily care, learning and development of children in either our 0–2 or 3–5-year-old room. You’ll work with your team to create safe, engaging, and culturally rich experiences for our jarjums, helping them learn, grow and thrive in identity and confidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide responsive care and culturally protected learning environments
- Assist in implementing EYLF-based programming
- Support the daily routines, health and wellbeing of children
- Help embed Aboriginal culture and language in day-to-day activities
- Document children’s observations and development
- Work collaboratively with educators, families and community

Selection Criteria Essential
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA-approved)
- Experience working with young children in early learning settings
- Understanding of EYLF, NQS and inclusive practice
- Cultural awareness and commitment to Aboriginal community values
- WWCC, First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification
