Requirements
A PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a closely related discipline.
Demonstrated experience in teaching at the university level, with a focus on AI and related subjects.




A robust record of research in Neurosymbolic AI or a related area, including publications in high-impact venues.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and engage with students effectively.
Nice to have
Experience with interdisciplinary research projects.
Familiarity with funding applications and grant writing.
Skills & tools
Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI research, such as Python or Java.
Knowledge of machine learning frameworks and tools relevant to Neurosymbolic AI.

Salary for the Lecturer (Level B) position ranges from AUD $127,947 to $150,830 per year, plus 17% superannuation.
For the Senior Lecturer (Level C) role, the salary ranges from AUD $155,403 to $178,290 per year, also with 17% superannuation.
