St Stephen’s School is seeking an exceptional and inspiring educational leader to step into one of its most influential and high‑impact roles – the Head of Campus at Duncraig (PK – Y12) . This role is to start Term 1, 2027.

As a key member of our dynamic Executive Team, you will shape and lead this next chapter. Your influence will extend beyond campus leadership, playing a central role in driving excellence, strengthening community, and bringing our future‑focused vision to life.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Principal, you will be a key contributor to whole‑school strategy while leading the people, culture, and operations of a PK–12 campus. Your work will directly influence student outcomes, staff development, wellbeing initiatives, and the overall experience of families across both Primary and Secondary.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the delivery of the School’s strategic plan at the campus level, with a focus on innovation, excellence, and future‑ready learning.
- Provide inspirational leadership that nurtures high performance, collegiality, and professional growth.
- Oversee the day‑to‑day operation of the campus, ensuring a seamless, positive, and enriching student learning environment.
- Build strong partnerships with staff, students, and families to foster a warm, connected, values‑driven community.
- Work closely with Senior Managers across the School to ensure collaborative, whole‑school alignment and operational efficiency.
- Lead with a balance of vision, empathy, resilience,
and strong organisational capability.

Qualifications & Compliance
- Relevant teaching qualifications and current TRBWA registration.
- Compliance with Working with Children legislation.
- Commitment to Child Safe Standards and the School’s Christian ethos.
Professional Knowledge & Expertise
- Extensive teaching experience and solid understanding of curriculum, pedagogy and student learning needs.
- Knowledge of current educational trends and AITSL standards.
- Ability to build a professional learning community focused on continuous improvement.
Leadership & Staff Development
- Proven leadership experience in managing teams, developing staff and leading improvement.
- Ability to coach, mentor and support staff wellbeing and professional growth.
- Capacity to lead innovation and change aligned with strategic priorities.
Student Wellbeing & Community Engagement
- Ability to develop strong relationships with students and support holistic wellbeing.
- Experience managing sensitive or complex matters involving students or families.
- Strong capacity to engage with parents, families and the broader community.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills across all levels of the School.
- Ability to represent the School professionally and positively.
