Job Details
Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time (38 hours per week) | Remuneration: $81,748.17 – $114,771.98 per annum + 12% superannuation, salary packaging and flexible working options. | Location: Fairfield Hospital.
Vaccination: Influenza vaccination mandatory before appointment. All staff must meet NSW Health's vaccination and screening requirements.
Responsibilities
- Deliver meaningful, relationship‑based care by supporting women and families through pregnancy, birth and early parenting, with a focus on those experiencing increased vulnerability and complex life circumstances.
- Be part of a dedicated Midwifery Group Practice team within Fairfield, working alongside passionate midwives and multidisciplinary partners to provide personalised, continuous care that places women at the centre.
- Contribute to a model that prioritises compassion, advocacy, respect and empowerment, ensuring every woman feels supported, heard and safe throughout her care journey.
- Work in a collaborative and supportive environment, partnering with social work, mental health, Aboriginal health, child and family health and community services to strengthen outcomes for women and babies.
- Grow your practice in an innovative and evolving service, with opportunities to build skills in trauma‑informed care, psychosocial assessment and continuity of care within a diverse and community‑minded maternity service.
