Health, Safety & Environment Advisor | Tuncurry | Full TimeDitchfield Contracting Pty Ltd – Tuncurry NSWDitchfield Contracting is seeking a practical and self-motivated HSE Advisor to support our civil construction and mining operations across the Mid North Coast.This is a permanent full-time position based at our Tuncurry office.About the roleWorking alongside our project teams, you'll provide practical support across health, safety and environmental matters, including:Site inspections and auditsRisk assessments and SWMS reviewsIncident reporting and investigationsEnvironmental and WHS complianceToolbox talks and safety initiativesReturn to work and injury managementHSE records, reporting and system improvementsThis is a hands-on role for someone who wants to get involved, help our teams and find practical solutions.This role based out of our Tuncurry office offers a high level of autonomy.
You will need to be comfortable working independently, managing your own workload and taking initiative.
You'll also have support from Ditchfield's experienced management and HSE team.About youIdeally, you will have relevant HSE qualifications and experience and be ready to step into the role.
However,



qualifications are not essential.
The right attitude, work ethic and willingness to learn are more significant, and we can provide training and career development where required.We're looking for someone who is:Self-motivated, reliable and organisedComfortable working autonomouslyApproachable and able to build strong relationshipsA clear communicator with sound computer and reporting skillsPractical, solutions-focused and willing to get involvedExperience in civil construction, mining or another high-risk industry would be highly regarded.
Qualifications in WHS, First Aid, Training and Assessment, Return to Work, Drug and Alcohol Screening or incident investigation would also be beneficial but are not essential.About DitchfieldDitchfield is a privately owned civil construction company that has operated throughout NSW for more than 30 years.
