The opportunity
Our client is a major Australian wealth and asset management group with significant scale across superannuation and retail investment channels. Alternatives are one of the fastest-growing parts of the business and a core pillar of their long-term growth strategy and they’re now hiring a commercially minded product leader to drive it.
You’ll own the strategy, development, commercialisation and ongoing management of the alternatives product suite spanning private equity, opportunistic credit and liquid alternatives. Unlike narrow institutional product seats, this role operates at genuine scale, you’ll leverage established retail and super distribution and take products from concept all the way through to market adoption.

- Partner with Finance on pricing,
profitability and product performance
- Maintain robust governance, risk and regulatory oversight across the portfolio
- Build trusted relationships at Executive, Board and investment leadership level
- Lead and develop a high‑performing specialist team
- Identify and drive future growth opportunities across alternatives
