About The Role
This is a hands‑on senior nursing role where you’ll also play an important part in team development.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- General nursing duties, including pre‑ and post‑operative care, pathology,
and emergency/critical care
- Assisting with surgical procedures and performing minor procedures where required
- Supporting and mentoring junior nurses
- Encouraging team development and knowledge‑sharing
- Maintaining clinic hygiene, including surgical areas and equipment
- Managing client enquiries in person, over the phone, and via email
About You
We are looking for someone who brings:
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)
- Minimum 2+ years’ clinical experience (senior or mentoring experience highly regarded)
- Solid surgical skills and confidence across general nursing procedures
- A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine passion for patient care
- A team‑first mindset with the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Experience with RX Works (desirable, not essential)
