IT Project Manager - Information Technology, Clerk Grade 9/10 - Parliament - NSW
The IT Project Manager is responsible for delivering technology projects that enhance the NSW Parliament's digital capability and operational efficiency. The role manages the end-to-end delivery of Minor Capital Works funded projects and operational improvement initiatives within the IT Services Branch, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to organisational strategies.

Based in NSW Parliament, the Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) is a specialist service department working to support the operation of the Parliament of NSW by providing logistical support and advice to members, the Departments of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly and the people of New South Wales. Our office is found close to public transport in the heart of Macquarie Street CBD, next to the State Library and Sydney's Botanic Gardens.

About you
In this role you will need demonstrated experience managing IT projects across infrastructure, applications and operational improvement domains. Demonstrated sound knowledge and understanding of project management frameworks and methodologies, such as PMBOK, PRINCE2, or Agile delivery principles. You will need substantial experience managing multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities and diverse stakeholder needs. Experience preparing project documentation, including business cases, project plans, risk registers and status reports, together with a sound knowledge of IT service management practices, such as ITIL and enterprise IT governance.
Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Certification or experience with ITIL Foundation (or higher) in service management practices.
Certification (e.g. CAPM) or equivalent experience in foundational project management methodologies
