We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Paint Salesperson to join our Cairns branch.
This is a hands-on, in-store sales role where you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing expert advice on automotive and industrial coatings. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in sales while applying their product knowledge and developing solid customer relationships.
What You Need
Solid communication and customer service skills
A proactive and positive approach to in-store sales
Ability to build lasting relationships with trade and retail customers
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic computer skills (for POS and order processing)
Current driver’s licence
Forklift licence (not essential – training can be provided)
Previous experience in automotive/industrial coatings or a trade background within the industry is preferred
Key Responsibilities
Provide expert advice and product recommendations to customers
Mix and tint paint products accurately to customer specifications
Process sales transactions and manage customer orders
Maintain store presentation and stock levels
Build and maintain solid relationships with trade and repeat customers
Support day-to-day store operations
