You will require:
2 - 3 + years previous experience in a Bookkeeping firm or Bookkeeping division of an Australian Accounting Firm looking after a portfolio of clients
Significant commercial experience with good longevity in past roles ( will also be considered)
Knowledge of Xero Software
The ability to perform full function A - Z bookkeeping
A Cert IV in bookkeeping would be highly favorable
Certifications in Xero would be highly favorable.
About the Role:
Working in a team of Xero bookkeepers, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering top-notch bookkeeping services. You'll be responsible for maintaining and enhancing client relationships,



ensuring the timely and high-quality completion of deliverables, and embodying professional behaviors that drive a culture of high performance.
This firm does not offshore their bookkeeping work, all client bookkeping work is done onshore.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Client Services & Management
: Support managers, understand client businesses, identify improvement opportunities, and consistently deliver a quality service.
Operational Excellence
: Leverage technology and automation to optimize processes, ensure standards are met, and continually strive for client satisfaction.
Portfolio Management
: Own and manage your own portfolio of clients, fostering trusted relationships.
Daily Tasks
:
Bank reconciliations, BAS, IAS
Accounts payable/receivable, payroll, month/quarter/year-end tasks
Cashflows, cashbook reconciliations, payment summaries, and more
Hybrid Option
: 9 day fortnight and 1 day a week from home OR 10 days and 2 days per week work from home after probation
