The Role
As a Leading Hand, you will be responsible for coordinating site activities and supporting the crew to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
You will work closely with our Construction Manager and Project Coordinator to ensure jobs are running smoothly, crews are organised, and our clients receive a professional experience from start to finish.
This is not a role for someone who stands back and points fingers.
We're looking for someone who leads by example and takes pride in doing the job properly.

About the Role
You'll lead a crew of commercial roofers, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.
Working closely with our Construction Manager and Project Coordinator, you'll take ownership of your projects while helping develop the people around you.
What Success Looks Like
Within your first 12 months, you'll:
Lead a high-performing roofing crew.
Deliver quality commercial roofing projects on time and within budget.
Mentor apprentices and tradespeople.
Maintain exceptional safety and quality standards.
Build robust relationships with clients and the Sentinel team.
Help shape the future of Sentinel Commercial Roofing.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who:
Has proven experience as a Leading Hand or Senior Commercial Roofer.
Leads by example.
Takes pride in quality workmanship.
Has excellent communication and leadership skills.
Is organised, reliable and solutions-focused.
Holds a White Card and relevant roofing qualifications.
Has a current driver's licence.
