About the Role
DKSH Healthcare is seeking a high-performing National Sales & Key Account Manager to lead national pharmacy sales and accelerate growth across the Australian pharmacy channel.
This dual-focus role is responsible for leading a national pharmacy sales team while managing strategic relationships with key pharmacy customers, major banner groups, buying groups, wholesalers, and brand partners. You will develop and execute sales strategies that drive revenue, expand distribution, maximise customer engagement, and deliver solid commercial outcomes for both DKSH and our clients.
Success in this role will require strong,
established relationships with key pharmacy banner groups and the ability to influence senior customer stakeholders through joint business planning, commercial negotiation, and disciplined execution.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop the national pharmacy sales team to achieve sales, distribution, and execution targets.
Develop and implement national sales strategies to drive revenue, market share, distribution growth, and customer engagement.
Build and maintain strong strategic relationships with key pharmacy banner groups, buying groups, wholesalers, and major retail accounts.
Lead joint business planning with priority customers to unlock growth opportunities, improve ranging, and strengthen long‐term partnerships.
Act as the primary commercial lead for assigned client brands, developing customer‐specific growth strategies and activation plans.
Lead contract negotiations, promotional planning, business reviews, trading terms discussions, and customer engagement initiatives.
Analyse sales performance, market trends, customer insights, and channel dynamics to identify growth opportunities and risks.
Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and client teams to ensure successful execution of brand and customer plans.
Deliver accurate forecasting, budget management, trade investment discipline, and account profitability outcomes.
About You
Proven experience leading pharmacy sales teams and managing key customer or national account relationships.
Strong, established relationships with key Australian pharmacy banner groups, buying groups, wholesalers, and strategic retail customers.
Deep understanding of the Australian pharmacy landscape, including national banners, independent pharmacy networks, wholesalers, and state‐based groups.
Experience managing pharmaceutical, consumer health, OTC, pharmacy, or retail healthcare brands.
Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth, secure distribution gains, develop customer partnerships, and lead commercial negotiations.
Strong joint business planning capability, with experience translating customer and brand strategies into practical execution plans.
Confident leader with strong coaching, communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
Commercially savvy, analytical, and comfortable managing forecasts, budgets, trade spend, and account profitability.
Results‐driven, resilient, and able to operate effectively in a fast‐paced, national commercial role.
